Cibola Communities EDC, $9,500: Marketing program targeting real estate developers and light manufacturing.
Four Corners EDC, $10,000: Marketing initiative focused on the oil & gas sector, aviation, and outdoor products manufacturing. The organization will also visit the corporate headquarters of local businesses as part of its BRE program.
Greater Gallup EDC, $12,500: Marketing initiative focusing on transportation assets, specifically Interstate 40 and the BNSF Transcon Corridor; the Gallup Energy Logistics Park; and the development of a truck super hub. GGEDC will also continue its strong BRE program.
Sandoval County, $10,000: Will expand its database identifying economic-base home businesses in the county in order to assist them in growing.
Los Lunas, $7,500: Marketing initiative targeting industry sectors related to data centers in order to capitalize on Facebook suppliers/partners.
Santa Fe County, $8,000: Will develop a wine industry business incubator which will allow residents to bottle wine without the capital expense of their own building.
Grow Raton, $10,000: Will seek ACT Work Ready Communities certification (workforce development) which is based on individuals at the county level earning an ACT WorkKeys National Career Readiness Certificate and adopting the ACT Common Criteria. Grow Raton will also provide entrepreneurial support for businesses using the commercial kitchen and the Center for Sustainable Community.
Guadalupe County, $7,500: Marketing program, including trade shows in target industries related to travel and tourism, and logistics (capitalizing on proximity to Interstate 40).
Las Vegas/San Miguel County EDC, $5,000: Marketing initiative targeting small aviation MROs and a fixed base operator.
Tucumcari, $10,000: Workforce development via an ACT Work Ready Communities certification which will include skills mappig and gap analysis, and creating training to bridge the gaps.
Mesilla Valley EDA (MVEDA), $12,500: Asset-based marketing initiative targeting unmanned aerial vehicles, border trade and logistics and light manufacturing, food processing and telemedicine.
Village of Santa Clara, $5,000: Will develop a mercado focused on startup businesses in order to increase the tax base.
Southern Luna County, $5,000: Data collection at the international border toward a study on traffic in order to target businesses best suited for the industrial park and undertake a marketing initiative to recruit those types of businesses.
Carlsbad DOD, $10,000: Marketing program focused on light manufacturing, aviation and nuclear industries.
Clovis IDC, $10,000: Marketing program focused on light manufacturing, food processing and renewable energy (specifically wind farms).
EDC of Lea County, $12,500: Focus on attracting regional headquarters specific to the oil & gas industry, and retail (in order to reduce sales leakage in the county).
Lovington EDC, $10,000: Will develop a 1,500-acre city industrial park including a speculative industrial building, a marketing program targeting the oil & gas industry, and a co-working space downtown.
Otero County EDC, $12,500: Marketing program focused on light manufacturing, unmanned aerial vehicles, and food processing. OCEDC will also continue its BRE program identifying businesses ready to expand.
