Las Cruces, NM - Today, Governor Susana Martinez announced that Convergys, Inc. will expand in Las Cruces, creating 200 new jobs. Convergys will receive $181,250 in Job Training Incentive Program (JTIP) funds to hire and train these new employees.

Raton, NM - Today, New Mexico Economic Development Secretary Jon Barela announced the Shuler Theater, which is celebrating its 100th anniversary this week, will receive $100,000 in Local Economic Development Act (LEDA) as part of the MainStreet Historic Theater Initiative. The funding will go toward digital movie conversion and to allow the theater to show high-quality, first-run movies. It will also serve as the anchor for commerce in Downtown Raton.

Santa Teresa, NM - Today, Governor Susana Martinez announced MCS Industries, a leading U.S. manufacturer of picture frames, will invest $11.1 million in expanding its warehousing and distribution facility. The company will also relocate its printing operations from Pennsylvania and construct a 215,000 square-foot facility in the new Westpark Logistics Center in Santa Teresa.
