Santa Fe, NM - The New Mexico Economic Development Department and New Mexico MainStreet program announce the first-ever Historic Theaters Institute Friday, June 19 at the historic Shuler Theater in Raton. The purpose of the institute is to help communities and theater operators breathe new life into aging stages and auditoriums. Under the leadership of Economic Development Secretary Jon Barela, MainStreet established the Historic Theaters Initiatives to help restore historic theaters and have them serve as an anchor for economic growth.

Job Training Incentive Program Awards 20 Companies $2,824,109 to Create 565 jobs in April

Santa Fe - The New Mexico Economic Development Department's Job Training Incentive Program (JTIP) board approved $2,824,109 in funding at its April board meeting for 20 companies that will create 565 jobs in New Mexico.

Governor Susana Martinez Announces 70 New High-Paying Jobs, Expansion of Two High-Tech Companies

Today, Governor Susana Martinez announced that two New Mexico high-tech companies are expanding and creating 70 new high-paying jobs. SambaSafety, a software development company, is adding 40 jobs. RiskSense, Inc., a cybersecurity company formerly known as CAaNES, is adding 30 jobs.
