Santa Fe, NM - Today, Governor Susana Martinez announced that Deming MainStreet has graduated from a "Start-Up" MainStreet program to a State-Certified MainStreet Community. As a State-Certified MainStreet, Deming MainStreet looks forward to advancing several key economic development priorities identified in the master plan, including downtown gateway features, physical enhancements to the Silver Avenue corridor, pedestrian enhancements, entrepreneurism development, a commercial kitchen and art galleries.

Mesilla Park, NM - Today, Governor Susana Martinez announced that New Mexico Greenhouse Holdings will create more than 120 new jobs over the next few years in Mesilla Park. The company will grow agricultural products and distribute them to major national retailers throughout the United States. These new jobs will include botanists, geneticists, and greenhouse staff.

They have chosen to locate their headquarters and manufacturing facility in Albuquerque and will create 10 new jobs. POM is one of the many high-tech startup companies that have benefited from the New Mexico Angel Investment Tax Credit.
