Governor Susana Martinez Announces More than 50 New High-Paying Manufacturing Jobs in Clovis

Clovis, NM - Today, Governor Susana Martinez announced that Southwest Cheese will expand in Clovis, creating more than 50 new high-paying jobs. Southwest Cheese will increase its operational capacity by 30 percent as part of the expansion, and these new jobs will have an average compensation of $62,000, including benefits.

Governor Susana Martinez Announces 300 New Jobs in Albuquerque

Albuquerque, NM - Today, Governor Susana Martinez announced that National American University (NAU) has chosen Albuquerque as a location for its Distance Learning National Operations Center. NAU will hire 30 to 50 workers immediately, and add approximately 50 employees every few months, creating up to 300 new jobs over the next few years. The news comes just a day after the Governor announced 300 new high-tech jobs in Albuquerque.

Governor Susana Martinez Announces 300 New Jobs in High-Tech Manufacturing Expansion

Albuquerque, NM — Today, Governor Susana Martinez announced that Skorpios Technologies Inc., a high-tech manufacturer of photonic integrated circuits, will expand in Albuquerque and create up to 300 jobs over the next few years. These positions include high-tech engineering and manufacturing roles, with an average salary of more than $60,000, and ranging all the way up to $150,000.

New Mexico MainStreet Announces Two Communities Selected for the Second Round of Great Blocks on MainStreet Design Initiative

Santa Fe, NM - New Mexico MainStreet, a program of the New Mexico Economic Development Department, announces, MainStreet de Las Vegas and Tucumcari MainStreet were selected for the second round of "Great Blocks on MainStreet," award. Both communities will renovate and reinvigorate historical railroad districts and support other significant work taking place in their MainStreet districts. They will receive $50,000 worth of services from a team of landscape architects, architects and design professionals to revitalize a section within their MainStreet and Arts & Cultural District.
